Electrical panel and circuit components

Three Services, Each
Scoped and Priced Clearly

Our services are focused rather than broad — each is designed around a specific type of home electrical need, with a published price and a defined scope.

Back to Home

Our Approach to Residential Electrical Work

Every Ember Nilsk service follows the same underlying structure: a conversation before work begins, methodical execution during the visit, and a written record left with the homeowner when we leave. This structure applies whether you're booking a routine home visit or a panel attention service.

We keep our service range deliberately focused. Rather than offering every type of electrical work that might be requested, we do three things well — and refer elsewhere when the work falls outside residential scope or requires more specialist knowledge than our team holds.

01

Enquiry & Scope Discussion

You describe what you've noticed or want done. We confirm which service fits, give you the price, and arrange a suitable time.

02

Visit & Preparation

We confirm the appointment the day before and arrive within the agreed window. Work areas are protected before we begin.

03

Methodical Execution

Work proceeds in a planned sequence. For visit services, each area is checked in turn. For fitting replacements, we work through your list tidily.

04

Testing & Written Summary

All work is functionally tested before we leave. Your written summary is delivered digitally, typically within one business day.

Technician conducting a home electrical inspection

Practical Home Visit

A structured assessment of your home's electrical installation, suited to homeowners who want a clear picture of what's in place and how it's performing. The technician checks the main distribution panel, tests accessible outlets and switches, examines lighting circuits, and takes note of anything you've observed in daily use — warm outlets, flickering lights, circuits that trip.

At the end of the visit, you receive a written summary organised by area of the home. This document is yours to keep and refers plainly to what was checked, what was found to be in order, and anything that merited a note.

Main panel and protective device check
Outlet and switch testing throughout the property
Lighting circuit review
Discussion of any specific concerns you've noticed

Everyday Fitting Replacement

A service for homeowners wanting to replace or update common household electrical fittings — wall switches, power outlets, ceiling lights, and extractor fans. The service works from a planned list, covering items in a logical sequence that minimises disruption to each area of the property.

Surrounding surfaces are protected before work begins. Each new fitting is installed tidily, with any cable work done cleanly inside the existing back-box or ceiling rose. All completed fittings are tested for correct function before we move to the next item on the list. Client-supplied items are welcome — if you've already purchased the switches or fittings you want, bring them in and we'll install them.

Main Panel Attention

A focused service for your home's main distribution board — the point where your supply enters and divides into individual circuits. The technician tests each protective device (MCBs and RCDs) against rated specifications, examines all internal connections for signs of deterioration or loose terminations, and checks whether the current circuit arrangement suits your household's load pattern.

Where components would sensibly be replaced, this is described clearly and quoted separately — not decided on the spot without your knowledge. The service includes updated circuit labelling and a written summary of the panel's condition. Accurate circuit labels are one of the most practical improvements to a panel and are included as standard.

Technical Protocols Shared by All Work

De-energised Before Connections

Affected circuits are isolated from supply before any terminal is opened. Isolation is verified with a non-contact voltage tester, not assumed.

Calibrated Test Equipment

Multimeters and RCD testers are calibrated and maintained. Test results are recorded as part of the written summary.

MS IEC Standard Reference

Work and inspection procedures follow current Malaysian Standards for LV electrical installations in residential premises.

Site Left Clean

Packaging, cable trimmings, and replaced components are removed from the property or disposed of responsibly before the visit ends.

Functional Test Before Leaving

Every circuit or fitting that has been touched is tested for correct function. This is confirmed in the written summary.

Licensed Personnel Only

All work is carried out by or under the direct supervision of a Suruhanjaya Tenaga-licensed technician. No unlicensed personnel perform electrical work.
